Memorandum on cooperation between EUHL & SHL
Memorandum on cooperation between the Russia Student Hockey League „SHL“ and the European University Hockey League „EUHL“. In the period from 7th to 11th September delegation of the European University Hockey Association visited Moscow.
During the visit, the guests took part in the opening and closing ceremonies of the III International festival of student and youth sports «Moscow Games», and also visited the games with the participation of student teams from the Czech University „UK Praha“ and the Swiss university „Saint-Gallen“. Participation of student teams from European universities in the competition is an important step in the development of student hockey.
Also during the visit the a memorandum of cooperation between the Student Hockey League (SHL) with the European University Hockey Association (EUHA) was signed by general director Anton Khramtsov (SHL) and president Jaroslav Straka (EUHA). In the framework of joint activities in the development and promotion of student hockey parties will plan an international tournaments, the first of them will take place in April 2017. Also under the agreement parties are planning to create a unified methodological system that will enable the student hockey to grow into a new level of sports.
The competition of Student hockey league in divisions „Bachelor“ and „Master“ will have more than 100 student hockey teams from 35 districts of the Russian Federation.
