Decision of the STC violation of the EUHL Manual 2018/2019 Chapter 2 part. 2.4.1. sec. 4) by Diplomats Pressburg
EUHL Manual 2018/2019:
2.4.1. Changes of Game Dates and Times
- If an originally scheduled game requires change of date, the team that required the change shall notify and provide explanation to the EUHA, the EUHA Game Officials Committee and the Sport- Technical Committee and inform the opposing team of the change at least:
- 96 hours (4 days) prior to the game in the Regular Season, unless the team learned, without any fault on their part, of the circumstances responsible for the date change after the deadline, whereby the team bears the burden of proof,
- 72 hours (3 days) prior to the game in the play offs, unless the team learned, without any fault on their part, of the circumstances responsible for the date change after the deadline, whereby the team bears the burden of proof,
- 120 hours (5 hours) prior to the game if a part of a trip, unless the team learned, without any fault on their part, of the circumstances responsible for the date change after the deadline, whereby the team bears the burden of proof.
Diplomats Pressburg has breached EUHL Manual 2018/2019 Chap. 2., Sec. 2.4.1., Point 4, by failing to comply with the deadlines set in the EUHL Match Time Manual.
The Sport – Technical Commission on the basis of the abovementioned violation of EUHL Manual 2018/2019
decided
that EUHL game Gladiators Trencin – Diplomats Pressburg will be counted as follows: 5:0 result in favor of the organizer – home team Gladiators Trenčín. Gladiators Trenčín will get 3 points and score 5: 0 will be counted in the team statistics and EUHL table.
The Diplomats Pressburg team will get 0 points and the score 0: 5 will be counted in the team statistics and EUHL table.
