Baltic Student Hockey Cup in St. Petersburg (Russia)
From August 27 to 30, 2019, St. Petersburg (Russia) will host an international tournament among the student teams “Baltic student hockey Cup” will be held for the first time in Baltic Student Hockey Cup in St. Petersburg (Russia)
Teams from 4 countries will participate in the tournament:
SHL select team of St. Petersburg
Student team of Latvia
Student Team of Estonia “Tallinn Kings”
University of Pardubice (Czech Republic)
“Baltic student hockey Cup” is a new project that aims to develop and popularize international relations in the field of student hockey. In addition to the sports component, it includes official events.
In particular, on August 28-29, the international conference „The role of student hockey in the field of international sports and educational exchanges“ will be held.
The main objective of the conference is to develop common approaches to issues relating to the development and implementation of exchange programs for students from different countries who practice hockey on a regular basis.
The conference will be attended by representatives of more than 10 educational organizations of higher education and student leagues from Russia, the USA, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The tournament is supported by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Russian Ice Hockey Federation
