American Collegiate Hockey Association announces the ACHA-EUHA Development Fund
The American Collegiate Hockey Association, a public charity under IRS Section 501 (c) 3, is pleased to announce the formation of the ACHA-EUHA Development Fund.
In early 2017, the ACHA and EUHA – European University Hockey Association signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the bodies. The Development Fund will be used to promote competitive play and further cooperation between the two governing bodies, including inter-league team travel. The ACHA currently sends a team each year to play the EUHA; future plans include EUHA team travel to the United States.
The fund will be managed by the American Collegiate Hockey Association. Donations to the ACHA-EUHA Development Fund are tax deductible from Federal Income Taxes in the United States.
The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) is the governing body for non-varsity hockey in the United States.
The European University Hockey Association consists of 9 teams from 3 countries, and is currently receiving applications from across central Europe.
