First penalty-shot shootout of the season in Žilina
Two games of the European University Hockey League have been played last week, on 6th December.
The team of HC UNIZA Žilina lost to its opponent from Győr, Hungary, in a very close match by 1:2 after penalty-shot shootout. Sebestyén Csata converted the decisive penalty shot. University Spartacus Košice hosted the league standings leading team of UMB Banská Bystrica in the Steel Arena. The university team from Košice won by 4:1 and claimed the most valuable victory in the current season in front of 520 spectators who found their way to university hockey.
