Małopolska Winter Cup III. is coming!

For the third time, the heart of hockey Małopolska will host a university ice hockey tournament as part of the European EUHL League – Małopolska Winter Cup III.

This event, which has become a permanent fixture in the calendar of winter sports events, aims not only to popularize hockey, but also to integrate the community and promote physical activity among the region’s residents.

The third edition of the Małopolska Winter Cup will take place on December 6-8, 2024, at the ice rink in Oświęcim. The tournament will bring together hockey teams from Europe, heralding international competition at the highest level. Representatives from countries such as Slovakia, Hungary and Poland will cross sticks at Chemików 4.

The following teams will compete: UHT SABERS, UNI GYOR ETO HC, PHILOSOPHERS NITRA and GLADIATORS TRENCIN The aim of the Małopolska Winter Cup is not only to select the best team, but also to create a platform for promoting winter sports in the region, as well as encouraging physical activity in the fresh air among the local community.

The tournament is an excellent opportunity to present the talents of young athletes and enable them to develop under the supervision of experienced coaches. In addition, the Małopolska Winter Cup aims to strengthen ties between the cities of Małopolska, creating a space for the integration of players, fans and all hockey enthusiasts.
