Players from the EUHL are also nominated for the winter World University Games

The 31st World University Games will start on January 12 in the American cities: Potsdam and Canton. The elimination games will take place at the famous Olympic Center in Lake Placid. Almost, 100 students-athletes showed interest in representing Slovakia.

Players who study and play in the United States, in Slovakia’s highest and second highest leagues made it to Slovakia’s final nomination. And two players active in the EUHL, specifically, Jakub Slivka from UMB Hockey Team and Marko Ragan from University Spartacus Košice.

The EUHL will have its representation in the realization team. The manager is Milan Kyseľ, who is also the manager of the University team UMB Banska Bystrica.
