Subject: Cancellation of the EUHL Playoff match 2024/2025 SPARTACUS Košice-SABERS Oswiecim

Based on the CONTRACT ON PARTICIPATION IN THE EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY HOCKEY LEAGUE 2024/2025 and Annex 3, paragraph c) and the EUHL MANUAL season 2024/2025:

c)​The University Team is obliged to play all its EUHL competitive matches in the 2023/2024 season, unless the EUHA decides otherwise in writing (i.e. the University Team may not cancel any of its EUHL competitive matches in the 2023/2024 season, unless the EUHA decides otherwise in writing); in case of violation of this obligation, the University Team is obliged to pay the EUHA a contractual fine of up to 2500,- EUR, which is payable within 5 calendar days from the date of notification by the EUHA of the application of this sanction to the University Team.

Decided

as follows: The Sabres Team violated the decision of the EUHA Board of Directors dated 6.3. 2025, file no. 2/2025 A by not traveling on 10.3. to the Sekeráš Trophy Playoff match SPARTACUS – SABERS.

ŠTK nullifies the SPARTACUS – SABERS match with the result 5:0 in favor of the SPARTACUS team, with the number of goals (SPARTACUS +5, SABERS -5) being counted in the elimination competition Playoff winning match in favor of the home Team SPARTACUS.
