When Performance Speaks for Itself: Győr’s Best Players Take the Spotlight

Held from 14 to 16 October 2026 as part of the European University Hockey League (EUHL), the tournament brought goals, dramatic comebacks and an overtime finish to the ice in Győr. Each team arrived with its own playing style, united by the determination to compete and succeed.

Every puck battle demanded commitment. Every scoring opportunity called for a split-second decision. As the pressure mounted, players were challenged to take responsibility, support their teammates and keep fighting—even when the game was slipping away.

At the end of each contest, two players stepped into the spotlight. One player from each team received the Best Player award, recognising their contribution to the game.

Twelve Players, Well-Deserved Recognition

Behind every award presentation was a game of hard work, physical battles and decisions made under pressure. Behind each recipient stood teammates creating opportunities, providing support and sharing every goal and setback.

The Best Player presentations offered a moment to recognise those individual contributions within the collective effort—a chance for players from all four teams to receive their applause.

Congratulations to all twelve award winners, and thank you for the commitment, determination and performances that helped shape the University of Győr Hockey Cup V.
